Blue Runner Gumbo Base W/Okra 15oz

Peel and clean one pound of shrimp. Open 4 cans of gumbo base and pour into a stainless steel or equal pot. (Do not use black iron or aluminum. This can cause severe discoloration of finished product). Add shrimp to Gumbo Base and heat to simmer stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Simmer for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand for 10 minutes. Heat and serve over rice. Serves 8 people. Crabmeat and oysters may also be added for a truly delicious complete Seafood Gumbo.
