Mr Alfred Landry has been making his Chow Chow mixture since 1940. He grows his own peppers harvesting only when they are ripen to perfection. In the begining he and family members would go out, pick the pepper and begin the tedious process of making the family “Chow Chow”. The whoe process of grinding the peppers, onions and garlic, etc. was done manually.

In 1978, Alfred (Al) Landry, Jr. decided to let others enjoy this great product. Thus forming Al Landry Pepper Products.
